Join us in celebrating two students from Arlington High School's senior class!  These outstanding young ladies have been awarded a scholarship from the City of Arlington's "Advancing the Dream - Choosing Connection Over Division '' essay competition.  Special thanks to their teachers for their support in writing great essays. 🙂
The winners are:
Aniyah Butler - 1st Place - $1,250
Destiny Okolie - 2nd Place - $1,000
Aniyah & Destiny  will be recognized at the AISD Board of Trustees Meeting (January 8, 2026, AISD Administration Bldg, 6:00pm) and the MLK Advancing the Dream Gala
P.S. This scholarship was just one of many advertised in the scholarship bulletin found .  Please encourage seniors to keep submitting their applications!  The next local scholarship with a guaranteed winner is the Arlington Woman's Club Scholarship due January 30th.
