School Supplies List
Bronco Families,
We can't wait to see y'all tomorrow night! Below is an update to help you prepare for the first days of school.
🎒 Meet the Teacher Update
We have a slight change to our Meet the Teacher schedule this year.
Meet the Teacher will be held Monday, August 10, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
This adjustment applies only to Butler and allows our staff additional time to transition from district events before welcoming families to campus.
🏫First Day of School
Our doors will open at 7:45 on Wednesday morning.
Everyone entering the school on Wednesday morning, and any morning, will need to enter through the front door.
Parents and families are welcome to walk their Broncos to class.
Please be sure to park in appropriate spots on side streets and areas around the front driveway without blocking the middle two lanes.
Please do not linger after dropping off your Broncos so we can clear our hallways and get our 1st day started on schedule, and please stop by the library for Cheers and Tears!
😃🥲Cheers and Tears, 7:45 AM - 8:30 AM
Our PTA will be sponsoring Cheers and Tears in the library for our ALL families dropping off their Broncos. Whether you're feeling emotional or excited, coffee and breakfast bites are here to support.
If the kids are making new friends, so can you!
👋🏽Independence Day
On Thursday, your Bronco will celebrate Independence Day by walking themselves to class.
You will say “good-bye and have a great day” to your Bronco at our front doors and our staff and student leaders will help get them to their classes.
🏎️Arrival and Dismissal:
Our attendance was AMAZING again last year! Thank you parents! Let's keep it going!!
Our school day begins at 8:05 ends at 3:35 and we start our dismissal at this time.
Older siblings will be led to younger siblings so that families picking up their Broncos will go to the youngest Bronco’s dismissal location.
The link below has our arrival instructions and dismissal map with directions.
Yes, it's dated 24-25, but it is the same process.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yBLcbXBBJYrDb8JlHLdOba59h9nNS97H/view?usp=sharing
Please know that the first couple of days can be bumpy with procedures for arrival and dismissal.
We ask that everyone shows patience and models safe driving habits to help ensure all our Broncos arrive and leave school safely every day.

Bronco Families,
We are thrilled to officially announce that Jennifer Myers has been named the new Assistant Principal of Butler Elementary!
Mrs. Myers is already a familiar and beloved member of our Bronco family, having served as our GT Lead Teacher for the past two years. During that time, she built strong relationships with students, staff, and families while demonstrating an unwavering commitment to academic EXCELLENCE and student success.
From Mrs. Myers:
It is with great excitement and sincere gratitude that I introduce myself as your new Assistant Principal at Butler Elementary!
My husband, Ryan, and I are proud to call Arlington home, where we raised our four children. Education has always been at the heart of our family. Ryan has served 91ֱ for nearly 30 years and is a Dropout Prevention Specialist, and together we have dedicated our lives to serving students, families, and our community. We truly believe in the power of education to transform lives.
Over the past 28 years, I have been fortunate to serve in a variety of teaching and leadership roles in Fort Worth ISD, Mansfield ISD, and now 91ֱ. For the past two years, I have had the privilege of serving Butler Elementary as the GT Lead Teacher. During that time, I have poured my heart into supporting our students, collaborating with our incredible staff, and building meaningful relationships with our families. Those experiences have only deepened my love for this amazing school and reinforced my belief that Butler is a truly special place.
It is an honor to continue serving our Butler community in this new role. I am committed to ensuring that every student feels safe, valued, challenged, and empowered to reach their full potential. I believe that strong partnerships between home and school are the foundation of student success, and I look forward to working alongside you to support every child academically, socially, and emotionally.
As we begin this new school year together, I am excited to continue building lasting relationships with our students, families, staff, and community. Thank you for your trust, your partnership, and for welcoming me into this role. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue serving Butler Elementary, and I can't wait to see all that our Broncos will accomplish together.
It's always a GREAT day to be a Bronco!
With gratitude,
Jennifer D. Myers, M.Ed.
Assistant Principal
Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Myers as she begins this exciting new chapter. We know she will continue making a positive impact on our students, staff, and families.
