Roquemore was named for two prominent 91直播 teachers, Jack and Alexa Roquemore. Alexa taught in the elementary school system and Jack taught agriculture at Arlington High School. They retired in 1970 in Nacogdoches.聽
Roquemore Elementary was repurposed as the Jimmy and Laura Jones Academy of Fine Arts and Dual Language in the fall of 2015.
