Mac Bernd Professional Development Center

The 91直播 Mac Bernd Professional Development Center (PDC) was established in January 2005 providing a central district location to grow and develop AISD personnel. The PDC hosts on average 3000 sessions and special events each year. The PDC follows the published 91直播 calendar. Summer professional learnings are hosted at the PDC to prepare administrators and teachers for the upcoming school year.聽

The PDC contains 13 rooms varying in size between 15 to 320 participants. Each room has an audio/visual system to meet the needs of presenters. 91直播 partners with community and nonprofit groups to host various trainings and events at the PDC.

For information to see if a community group or nonprofit group is a community partner, please email pdc@arlingtonisd.org.聽 A PDC team member will help answer any questions.

Office hours:

  • School year office hours are from 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.聽
  • Summer office hours (June-July) are from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Thursday.
  • Saturday training sessions and special events are available upon request based on availability.

The PDC is closed on Sundays.

RESERVATIONS

The Professional Development Center is only available for AISD training events, AISD school events, and official community partners that actively work with AISD Students or Staff.聽 To inquire about community partner affiliation, please email pdc@arlingtonisd.org聽with information about the organization and how it is partnered with AISD.

Community partners are for groups that actively have programs working with students on an AISD campus or have an active partnership with other AISD Departments.聽 All community partners will work with the PDC and the AISD Facilities Rentals Department for reservation approval.

Requests to use the PDC by community partners can be made by submitting a room request. The PDC staff will respond within 48 hours of the reservation request.

The PDC opens at 7:30am for setting up training rooms and closes 30 minutes after the last session is completed.聽 Early Set up request may be requested 1 week prior to the event date.

All training sessions must be completed by 8:00pm and the facility cleared within 30 minutes after the conclusion of the event.聽聽

All banquets must be completed by 9:00pm and cleared within 30 minutes after the conclusion of the Banquet.

Early Set up request may be requested 1 week prior to the event date.

91直播 utilizes FMX for Facility Requests

  • Rentals are to be submitted through the FMX platform and will be directed to the appropriate personnel for approval.
